Bred by Elisha J. Hicks (United Kingdom, before 1923).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1923 as 'Viscountess Devonport'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Viscountess Devonport'.
Introduced in Australia by Roseland - B. V. Rossi in 1925 as 'Viscountess Devonport'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Indian yellow. Yellow with copper shadings. Light yellow, apricot center. Fades in hot weather.  Mild fragrance.  Small to medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Compact, dense.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden.
