Origin:
Bred by Barbier Frères & Compagnie (France, before 1901).
Introduced in France by Barbiers Frères & Co. in 1903 as 'Alexandre Trémouillet'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
White, salmon-pink shading, buff undertones.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, button-eye, flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
