Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1938).

Bloom:
Carmine-red.  Mild fragrance.  5 to 6 petals.  Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Height of 16" (40 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders or garden.  Hardy.
