I purchased this rose in 2005. It didn't bloom for me that year.
In 2006 it did put forth a few blooms which were very pretty, but I was still a bit disappointed in the performance.
In 2007 it is putting on a show. The colour is more peach than pink. I now think that it is an awesome rose.
Some roses need a bit to settle in.

I just purchased 2 of these roses this spring. They did not flower for me but grew very vigoruosly. Do they take a couple of years before they flower?

Shelley, they should flower for you in the Spring. This is listed as a repeat bloomer, so it shouldn't take more than a season to flower.

Good luck

I ordered these roses from Sheila Holmes. Her e-mail is Erskine Plants@telus.net. If you go to Robert Erskine Roses website, you'll be able to see whats all available. It states on the website that there is a 2 year waiting list but I ordered in the fall and had them the next spring. If you don't want the hassle of ordering through the mail, I would reccomend morden sunrise which is a two tone yellow as well.
