Origin:
Bred by Peter Ping Lim :林 彬 (United States, 2001).
Introduced in United States by Bailey Nurseries in 2002 as 'Dreaming Free'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden or ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
