Medium yellow Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Irish Gold
Bloom:
Yellow. Moderate fragrance. 33 petals. Average diameter 7". Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered, quilled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Bushy, upright. Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm). Width: 18" to 4' (45 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 10b. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot . Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
