Origin:
Bred by G. De Fauw (France, 1850).
Introduced in Australia by John J. Rule, Victoria Nursery in 1858 as 'Souvenir de la Reine des Belges'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, red shading, carmine-red edges.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
