Origin:
Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1882).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Madame Eugène Verdier'.

Bloom:
Yellow, darker center, light yellow outer petals.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Height of up to 4' 11" (up to 150 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
