Bred by Marie-Louise (aka Widow,Vve) Schwartz (France, 1891).

Bloom:
Carmine-pink, purple shading.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  
Notes:
Pierre Lauwersthinks this rose would be better classed with the Bourbons
and not the Hybrid Perpetuals because its leaves too rough for a Hybrid Perpetual.
