Origin:
Bred by Roelof Buisman (Netherlands, 1952).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1964 as 'Kathleen Ferrier'.
Class:
Floribunda, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink.  Strong fragrance.  Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
The variety commemorates the popular British contralto who lived 1912-53.
