Introduced in United Kingdom by Wood & Son in 1854 as 'Duchess of Norfolk'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1863 as 'Duchess of Norfolk'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson, light pink undertones.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
