Bred by Marest (France, 1859).
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Madame Pauline Villot'.

Bloom:
Red, shading.  Very large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
