What a difference a blue background makes !!!
Made the blue background much darker in PhotoShop.
Here, in the middle bloom the yellow is close to true colour.

This rose also produces some nice sprays of 5 to 7 blooms. |
Again, more experiments with black & blue background taken with my new OLYMPUS C-4040 Digital camera.

I think this is the BEST photo of this rose so far, taken in full sun. Very good form with high centre. |

Most blooms will form a perfect star when fully open. Taken in cloudy weather and the red looks a bit dull. |
After one week of rain on & off, this bloom opened without any rain damage.
This bloom is showing the petal colour much better than the previous image. |
