Origin:
Bred by Eugene S. Boerner (United States, before 1957).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1964 as 'Lavender Princess'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Flowers lavender, lightly overcast purplish lilac.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 3.75".  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
