From the Vintage Gardens web site: " Oval buds of lemon curd washed apricot open to large, globular flowers of refined distinction. Tea-Rose scented. A very rare treasure from the San Jose collection. This rose was mislabeled until recently when we were able to find evidence of the true name; we had called it by its misnomer, Jean Noté, before."

Parents are two unissued seedlings of Pernet-Ducher.
