Origin:
Bred by William Edward Lippiatt (New Zealand, 1887).
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1904 as 'Mrs. Lippiatt'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
