I planted this rose about two months ago in my Northern California garden during one of the worst blackspot seasons I've experienced. I purposely didn't spray this rose to see how hardy it is and it's amazing. Not one speck of rust or blackspot! The foliage is green and lush with buds appearing. I'm eagerly awaiting my first blush of blooms.
