Bred by Jacques-Julien Margottin père (1817-1892) (France, before 1865).
Introduced in Australia by Joseph Harris, South Yarra Nurseries in 1865 as 'Belle de Bourg-la-Reine'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
