Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1928).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1929 as 'Maneca'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, salmon-pink shading, ages to light pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
