Bred by Amanda Beales (1967-2013) (United Kingdom, 2006).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Peter Beales Roses in 2004 as 'Joan Beales'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 4".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, upright.  Medium, matte, dark green foliage.  

Height: 39" to 4'11" (100 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden or hedge.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
