Bloom:
Dark red. None to mild, apple fragrance. up to 8 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: up to 46" (up to 115cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower. Hardy. vigorous. flowers drop off cleanly. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third.
