I got this rose in th Spring of 2009 as a bareroot rose from the local nursery who I believe got it from Teas Nursery. The plant broke dormancy well enough but never really got very tall. This year was a heavy pressure year for fungal disease. BS and PM ran rampant just about everyhere, and it hit this poor rose like it was run over by a bus!! The foliage was almost completely gone the entire year no matter what I did for it. The BS and PM devastated it. The bush only got about 2 1/2' tall tops, and the blooms though gorgeous to see were non-fragrant and very few and far between repeat blooming. I will give it another full year at least to see if it improves but if by the end of year 3 it hasn't improved dramatically it will be gone.
