Bred by Peter Ping Lim :林 彬 (United States, 1997).
Introduced in United States by Bailey Nurseries in 2008 as 'My Girl'.
Class:
Shrub.   (Series: Easy Elegance ® Collection)  
Bloom:
Deep pink, red shading.  Mild, rose fragrance.  28 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat, rosette, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Medium, compact, upright, well-branched.  Semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: up to 4'1" (up to 125cm).  Width: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 9b.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden, landscape or shrub.  Very hardy.  vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: mildew resistant.

The new variety of shrub rose, `BAIgirl`, designated as seedling No. 97R315-1P was selected among seedlings derived from a cross made in Yamhill, Oreg. in 1997 between an unnamed proprietary seedling of the inventor's, No. R92108, as the female parent and `NOAtraum` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 7,282) as the male parent.
