Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Baron de Rothschild'.

Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
