Bred by Francis Dubreuil (France, 1893).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1896 as 'Perle de Feu'.

Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, copper shading, light yellow shading, purple highlights.  Medium, semi-double to double, high-centered bloom form.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 8b through 9b.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
