Mrs. Aaron Ward (H.T.) (Pernet Ducher, 1907) Indian yellow with white margin. Compact grower with full bloom of medium size on stout stems. A pretty variety which is constantly in bloom. A climbing sport is a welcome addition to a class weak in this colour. Tea [fragrance].

Mrs. Aaron Ward.  Hybrid Tea.  One of the most popular Roses.  Beautiful Indian yellow buds and newly opened flowers, shading to soft pink and white with age.  While the flowers are not large, they are gracefully formed, very full, and fragrant.  The low-growing, vigorous bush is seldom troubled with pests.  Stands twelfth in the Best Twelve Hybrid Tea Rose Referendum of the American Rose Society.

p42. Mrs . Aaron Ward (Pernet-Ducher, 1907): a tremendously popular and deserving little rose of unique shape. deep, buff-yellow, fading in hot weather to white and pale pink. Low, spreading growth, with pointed, holly-like foliage.

p55. 'Frau Dr. Erreth' (Geduldig, 1915): deep-orange double blooms, much resembling Mrs. Aaron Ward and, like it, fading to white when fully open. Very large and attractive for a Polyantha.

Novelties for 1925. 'Viscountess Devonport' (HT). E. J. Hicks. This excellent Rose can safely be described as an improved Mrs. Aaron Ward, it having the same form of flower but much finer. Rich Indian yellow, compact growth and sweetly scented.
