Bred by Walter Schowalter (Canada, before 1960).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Light Pink.  up to 15 petals.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), in bundles bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium.  

Height: up to 42" (up to 105cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2b and warmer.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to rust .  
Breeder's notes:
R. arkansana from the wild. Discovered in the wild near Provost, AB Up to 3 1/2 feet tall, suckers freely, large flat light pink blossoms in corymbs, up to 15 petals, blooms in July and then all summer. Unfortunately, subject to rust. [WS notes] Pictured in the 1968 Prairie Garden on p. 84.
