Origin:
Bred by Walter Schowalter (Canada, circa 1960).
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Rose Pink.  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Moderate, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 9b.  Hardy.  
Breeder's notes:
o.p. seedling of an everblooming single red rugosa. Height 3 feet, typical rugosa foliage, pompon shaped rose pink flowers most of the summer. Started as an enormous flower, but through the years has become average size. shrub [WS notes]
