USDA zone 2b and warmer.  Very hardy.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
MR X says parentage is ('Old Crimson China' x R. canina) x 'Souvenir de Alphonse Lavalee' [Brian Porter]. Another source says pollen parent is Simonet's R. laxa hybrid x 'Souvenir de Alphonse' Lavalee [Brian Porter] In all likelihood extinct. [Olsen]
