Orange-pink Mini-Flora. Registration name: MANianExhibition name: Shirynne Cowan
Bloom:
Orange-pink. Beautiful bicolour and blend. Flowers orange-pink, cream reverse. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 3". Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, classic hybrid tea, exhibition, high-centered, pinpoint centers bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, spreading, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 28" (60 to 70cm). Width: 15" to 20" (40 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Very vigorous. benefits from winter protection in colder climates. prefers full sun. requires full sun for best color. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Cut back one-half every year.. Feed this rose well. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third.. Remove spent blooms only.
