Photo taken May 27, 2016 in New Brunswick, NJ, USA. This is about as accurate in color as my iPhone camera can manage. In real life, it was a bit more purple.

Spring 2014. Four year old plant. Zone 7b. I am not making recommendations for cultivation of this rose but I experimented with it because last year it bloomed hot pink and if I accidentally killed it, I would not have grieved over long. To achieve this color in my alkaline clay soil, I amended with horse manure and peat moss. Then I watered ONCE after it was fully leafed out and buds beginning to form with two gallons of water to which I had added one (maybe two) tablespoons of white vinegar. (This last part, someone has said could kill a rose, so be forewarned if you too begin to experiment.) It's also planted in partial shade as you can see.
