Bred by Francis Dubreuil (France, 1886).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Duchesse de Bragance'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, lighter edges.  Canary yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  Very double, reflexed bloom form.  Long sepals, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost), upright, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
Said to be similar to 'Monsieur Furtado' - see.
