Medium red Hybrid Perpetual.
Origin:
Bred by Victor Etienne Gautreau (France, 1866).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Eugène Scribe'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Fiery red.  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
