Bred by Frank Cant (1857-1928) (United Kingdom, before 1918).
Introduced in France by Paul Nabonnand in 1923 as 'Rosabel Walker'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'Rosabel Walker'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet, crimson shading, yellow undertones.  Brilliant velvety crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be trained as a climber.
