Origin:
Bred by Benjamin R. Cant (1827-1900) (United Kingdom, before 1910).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1910 as 'Claudius'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red to deep pink.  Full self Rose, with little if any shading..  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular, rounded bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders or exhibition.
