Mrs. Wakefield Christie-Miller. 1909. A truly lovely rose, fragrant, rather like a delicate airy light pink paeony. Utterly charming and a collector’s rose. (Not to be mistaken with Lady Mary Fitzwilliam with which it was being confused both abroad and in Australia). Flowers generously in several flushes during the season and is a traffic stopper when she does.
