Bred by William Paul and Son (after 1906) (United Kingdom, before 1922).
Introduced in France by Paul Nabonnand in 1922 as 'Gloria'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - crimson.  Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
