Origin:
Discovered by Benjamin R. Cant (1827-1900) (United Kingdom, 1935).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Gurney Benham'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Butter-yellow to golden-yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
