Bred by Carl Meyer (United States, before 1971).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1971 as 'Portrait'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1973 as 'Portrait'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, light pink shading, yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
