'Prosperity' Tall  Ivory   Remontant   P3   H1    *
'Prosperity' can be charming; its buds are beautifully formed, and the flowers open into rather small rosettes. It is on the border line between this section and the Polyanthas, but its small dark leaves are not Polyantha type. It is a spreading shrub with occasional long shoots. Raised by Pemberton from 'Marie-Jeanne' x 'Perle des Jardins' , that is Polyantha crossed Tea. Introduced in 1919.

Pemberton's Roses
A[...] class tending to be hardy, everblooming climbers, originated in England by the Rev. Joseph Pemberton. These are hybrids of Rosa moschata, the Musk Rose, whereas the Lambertianas are Hybrid Multifloras. Captain Thomas’ Roses offered below are similar, partaking of elements from both classes, combined with original traits. These Roses are $1 each for strong, field-grown plants
Prosperity. Hybrid Musk. (1919.) White, rosette-like flowers, tinted with pale pink, and borne in profuse, erect clusters. Vigorous, 3 to 4 feet.
A splendid Rose for indoor decoration, the big sprays keeping fresh a long time in water.
