Red DeviI HT. (Dickson) A very well formed red, not particularly deep; but it is a good colour. The growth is very good, and it repeats flowering very quickly. This is a very pleasing new cultivar. It has fragrance although not as much as we were led to believe.  This is the kind of rose we all like to see - it has exhibition form and is equally good as a garden type ('Silver Lining' x 'Prima Ballerina')

p163.  Mr. C. W. Bulley, of Brisbane, Queensland. The New Ones.
Red Devil  apparently likes our climate as the first year plants are vigorous and healthy. The first blooms show great promise and this cultivar could be a serious rival to 'Christian Dior'

Red Devil , N.Y. (Dickson) Deep red, double. A remarkably fine new red rose having many fine qualities which assure it of a high place in the esteem of Australian rose lovers. The bush is ideally vigorous, bushy, free-flowering and hardy. The intensely fragrant blooms are fully double and held erect, making it most suitable for the home gardener, while the splendid form of the blooms make it a "must" for keen exhibitors of show specimens. Cert. of Merit R.N.R.S. and awarded "Gold Crown" for the most fragrant new rose at 1966 Italian Rose Trials.

Dr. A. S. Thomas. New Roses in Victoria.
Red Devil HT. (A P C Dickson, 1966) 'Silver Lining' x 'Prima Ballerina'. I have been privileged to have this rose and 'Grandpa Dickson' on trial under number for two years. It is a huge fragrant red show rose which scorches in hot weather, especially after rain, as does 'Montezuma'. An exceptionally strong grower with good resistance to disease.
