Light pink. Medium, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.
Bushy, spreading, well-branched. Semi-glossy foliage. 13 to 15 leaflets.
Height of 4' 11" to 16' 5" (150 to 500 cm).

A spreading bush with simple flowers and thorny stems. Native to Japan and formerly considered a regional variety of Rosa roxburghii
R. roxburghii f. hirtula differs from f. normalis by its pubescent foliage. The latter's foliage is smooth.
