Silver Moon (Climber) An interesting white rose with silver-grey stems. Shapely flowers opening to semi-double. Slightly scented with good foliage. 1910 (S) 12 x 8’.
Book  (1955)  Page(s) 56-57.

Silver Moon (1910) Clusters of long, pointed, pale-yellow buds; large (4½ inch), semi-double pure-white flowers with prominent golden stamens, suggesting the Cherokee parent. Profuse June bloom; lovely buds and blooms for cutting. Long, strong stems and glossty, dark almost-evergreen, leathery foliage. Among finest of once-blooming white climbers, very vigorous to 25 to 30 feet; good effect by second year; best in full sun. Makes a strong "trunk"; also a tall, impenetrable hedge if given some top pruning. A recurrent-flowering Silver Moon is, as I have said, very much still a possibility. Slightly FRAGRANT.
