*** Growing near Houston, TX: sub tropical zone 9a. Mild winters, hot, extremely humid summers that last half the year. ***
Purchased spring 2011, grafted
Easy Does It lives in dappled shade, in a pot and is 4 feet tall by two and a half feet wide. Blooms frequently, sweet smell.
Update Oct 2012- Easy Does It has earned itself a spot in the garden! I really love this plant and am eager to see what it does with actual sun to help it grow. It was affected by chilli thrips this summer, but nothing major.
July 2013- 5ft tall by 3 ft wide. I suspect it would be bigger if not for the dry bed it lives in. Blooms constantly.
5/24/2014 - Planted in new garden.
4/9/2015- Has stayed shorter and bushy in its current garden location, and blooms very frequently. I have no problems with this one.
4/2016- blooming its head off this spring, and the scent wafts. 5h x 3w
3/2018- was infested with ants that seemed to grow stronger from ant killer. Plant dwindled last year and is now dead. I will probably replace.
New plant purchased 2019.
