Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2006).

Hybrid Gigantea.

Golden-yellow, orange-red blending, russet edges.  None to mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, flat bloom form.  Moderate, once-blooming spring or summer.  Small, pointed buds.
Habit:
Tall, arching, climbing.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.
Growing:
Very vigorous.
Breeder's notes:
This was one of the first three seedlings from this group to bloom in 2008, at the age of one year old. While not of particular merit on its own, it may work its way into my breeding program to see if it has any tricks up its sleeve. With 'Fortune's Yellow' as a pollen parent, it might have some surprises in its genetics.

Pollen of 'Fortune's Double Yellow' was provided by Cass Bernstein and Barbara Oliva in Spring 2006. Thanks to you both.

Ploidy unknown, and frankly, it could be anything with parentage such as this.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Per Paul Barden, January 18, 2011, "the plant was lost in the 2009 cold snap".
