Light pink, lilac shading, lighter edges.  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.

Thornless (or almost).

Notes:
The fact that 'Belle Herminie' in Sangerhausen is very prickly (see Member's comments), indicates that the attribution to Coquerel is incorrect.
