Oh my gosh Kim, what a lovely story about SP. I will find a spot for this rose in my yard. Thanks.

What a great rose this is. Almost continuous bloom, and I personally love the smallish, near-white flowers with a button eye--very cute!! And WOW, the fragrance! The very sweet fragrance is absolutely second to none. Extremely disease resistant. A grouping of these would be extraordinary.

At Azalea House and in Yonder Garden 'Stanwell Perpetual' has never shown blackspot or mildew. This was one of Gertrude Jekyl's favorite Roses. She suggested planting three together in a triangle to create more vertical growth and to prune in early spring for better repeat.
