Deep yellow Hybrid Tea.
Registration name: Sunblest
Exhibition name: Sunblest
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1970).
Hybrid Tea.
Deep yellow.  None to mild fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Light green foliage.
Height of 3' to 4¼' (90 to 130 cm).  Width of 2' (60 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Fryer's Roses says Sunblest is probably the most successful yellow Hybrid Tea of recent years. This rose has superbly formed flowers of bright unfading yellow...
