Exhibition name: Summer Sun
Apricot - pink, apricot reverse.. Moderate fragrance. 50 to 60 petals. Average diameter 3.25". Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Medium, bushy, upright. Large, semi-glossy, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height of 35" to 43" (90 to 110 cm). Width of up to 20" (up to 50 cm).
Can be used for cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant.

The new variety of rose plant of the present invention originated from a controlled crossing in a breeding program of two distinct parents during the summer of 1998. The crossing was between an unnamed seedling and another unnamed seedling.
