Introduced in France by J.-B. Chauvry in 1906 as 'Victor Morlot'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Scarlet to red, dark red shading.  Slaty reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double bloom form.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.
